This is the kind of night where the lighting hits just right, the room hums with energy, and every entrance feels like a moment. Runway 313 is equal parts celebration and statement, a night where Detroit style takes the spotlight and Big Futures get the fuel they deserve.

WITH YOUR HOST CHUCK BENNETT

Chuck Bennett is Michigan’s Style Guru. He writes the Society column for the Detroit News and is a trailblazer among major national metropolitan dailies, having won numerous awards. As president of Chuck Bennett, Inc., Image Experts, his legendary event planning skills have partnered him with some of Detroit’s best-known names to create unforgettable moments, including MGM Grand Detroit, The Roostertail, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Compuware, and Christian Dior. He is called upon annually by Hour Detroit Magazine to name Detroit’s Best Dressed.

Bennett is a highly sought-after master of ceremonies, beckoned whenever a new restaurant or club opens in the Metro Detroit Area. He is the Fox 2 News Style Ambassador, appearing regularly on-air alongside Maurielle Lue, offering tips on event planning, etiquette, style, and fashion. A member of the Board of Directors for Danialle Karmanos Work It Out foundation, he has helped raise millions of dollars for numerous charities, including Detroit Meals on Wheels, Boys and Girls Club, Yatooma Foundation for The Kids, The Rhonda Walker Foundation, The Horatio Williams Foundation, and his own charity foundation, The Please and Thank you Fund, a 501c3 that is dedicated to developing and implementing programs on protocol, cultural awareness, etiquette and image training for youths ages 14 to 18 years old.

MUSIC FROM DJ BRUCE BAILEY

As a Detroit-born DJ, producer, entrepreneur, and event curator recognized as underground royalty in the birthplace of techno. With a career spanning decades, Bailey has been a defining force in Detroit’s house music scene, including holding down the longest-running house music weekly in Detroit history at Club 246 in the 1990s and later recreating that same energy at the iconic Lola’s in Harmonie Park. His career has placed him on bills with some of the most respected names in house and techno, including Louie Vega, Moodymann, Carl Craig, D-Nice, Osunlade, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Minx, Juan Atkins, and many more.

Known as one of the Motor City’s go-to DJs, Bailey has brought his sound to major cultural, corporate, and philanthropic events across Detroit and beyond, including performances connected to The Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin’s final concert, the New York Marathon Gala, the Barristers Ball, and high-profile private events. He currently holds multiple residencies throughout Metro Detroit, serves as Musical Director for Soul on Ice Drinking Den, and continues to shape the city’s nightlife and music culture through his promotion company, Tandem Entertainment. A DJ, producer, promoter, influencer, and serial entrepreneur, Bailey has built a brand rooted in music, community, and relentless Detroit hustle, summed up in his signature mantra: “The Brand Don’t Build Itself.”

Think bright colors, mixed patterns, bold accessories, and that one unforgettable statement piece you never get a chance to show off.
