THE BIG HOUSE 5K

Racing Toward a Brighter Future

Each year, the Big House 5K draws thousands of runners from across the region to race through Ann Arbor and finish on the 50-yard line of Michigan Stadium—all while raising money for local nonprofits. With a long history of sellouts and community impact, the Big House 5K is more than just a race—it’s a movement for good.

In 2025, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan was honored to be selected as one of the event’s charity beneficiaries. The support raised through this iconic race helps fuel one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth in our communities.

Looking for a fun, easy way to rally your team and give back? Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature third-party fundraiser--pre-packaged, plug-and-play, and ready to roll.

Whether you're a company, club, student group, or just a team of do-gooders, Bowl for Kids’ Sake makes it simple to raise funds and have a blast doing it. We provide everything you need to get started: toolkits, templates, team tips—even the bowling shoes.

Major teams like Stellantis and AAA have already hosted their own Bowl for Kids’ Sake events—raising money, building team morale, and showing their commitment to the community.
