Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a variety of opportunities to learn and grow in a professional setting.  Our staff consists of administrative support, social workers, development professionals, marketing and event planning staff, and grant writers.  We also accept internships for a variety of roles.

Social work interns are generally accepted from our relationships with the Schools of Social Work from EMU, UofM, and WSU.  Other interns serve and learn throughout the year in a committed academic year or summer internship time frame.  Any open positions are listed below.

Program Intern

  • Assist in building our Business with a Heart program to provide free/low cost opportunties for our Bigs and Littles.
  • Design monthly newlsetter for Bigs, Littles and families.
  • Research and organize our bi-monthly Activity Emails, which provide opportunities for matches in and around our communities.

Development Intern

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Development staff: marketing, special events, corporate outreach, and individual stewardship.
  • Plan and execute third-party fundraiser events.
